If you want your trees to “fall over” (simulate physics) when they’ve been depleted there are a couple of steps required for this to take place, let’s take a look.
- Setup Collisions for your Mesh
This is a critical step if you also want to save on performance, this also has to be done for ALL meshes that you want to interact with/simulate physics on - Make sure “Simulate Physics” and “Apply Impulse on Depletion” is checked in the Data Table for the foliage type
- Try adjusting the “Impulse Multiplier” if your tree is not falling over, the plugin will attempt to calculate where to apply the impulse on the mesh to make it seem “realistic” but sometimes meshes have too much “mass” to be affected by the impulse
